Richmond Physiotherapy will be at Richmond Running Festival this September!
Find us at the sport expo. We are delighted to have been invited and look forward to providing FREE physiotherapy advice to runners of all abilities.
Our experienced physiotherapists will be in attendance:
Bridget Burleigh completed this year’s London marathon in style after coming back from a nasty hamstring rupture only four months earlier. She is running the 10km race on the day and then coming over to join us and answer your queries.
Stephen Perchard heads up our running screen and he will be available along with
- Kathryn Brodie
- Pippa Rollitt
- Kate Sheehy.
For information about the screen visit our website : http://www.richmondphysio.co.uk/runners-reach-your-potential
Toosie Bawden specialises in the treatment of pain around the pelvic region – see our website arti-cle for triathletes: ‘Numb Bum’
You can also find out about clinical Pilates classes, where expert, physio led sessions run in 6 week cycles through the year or ask about a much more specific one to one Pilates programme directed by Kathryn or Toosie, both of whom are Pilates trained Chartered Physiotherapists.
Our fantastic massage staff will also be in attendance: Edel and Yoshiko have many years of ex-perience treating triathletes and runners year in year out as well as looking after Starlight and CRY runners at the London Marathon since 2011. Ask them about the benefits of pre and post event massage and for those hard-core ultra runners – what it takes to stay on track through training and into performance.
This is a great opportunity for all you runners (and would- be runners!) to ask questions and find out how to set and achieve your goals.
Ask About Our New Service
We have linked up with top Triathlon trainers Ben Webeck and Cat Benger at ABCpure and we are now able to offer a superb combination of our running screen in clinic and then feed-back and technical correction on track; this is the way to optimise your running style, efficiency and of course times!
See you there!
Pop along and pick our brains!
