We have re-opened the clinic and are ready to welcome you back. Rest assured we are following the guidelines, taking all reasonable steps to protect you and the environment.
Some of our patients prefer to be seen online so this will be an option in the coming months and it can work very well indeed.
If you have an injury but are shielding or vulnerable, don’t worry, we can come to you, using PPE and protecting you (see this article).
Other patients prefer to come into clinic in which case we will call you first to check that this is appropriate.
If you are coming in for your appointment you will receive an email outlining how this works. We will ask you to bring a mask; if you don’t happen to have one we can provide one to you.
There is no waiting area, in order to comply with social distancing rules, so it’s best to come pretty much bang on time, ring the bell and be shown up to the clinic.
Of course you will wash your hands on arrival ( and when you leave).
Your physiotherapist will look a little different, we are wearing masks, gloves and single use aprons.
We are allocating time before and after each appointment to clean down the clinical areas thoroughly.
Do you have a thermometer? We will ask you to check your temperature before you come in (and of course if your temperature is raised you should let us know and cancel your appointment).
If you are contacted by test and trace you will need to let us know and cancel your appointment.
Essentially our aim is to provide the same high quality care as previously – but the surroundings and the timings are different.
